Instructor Training FAQs
How long does the program take to complete?
Our instructor training program requires a total of 350 hours to complete, and can be completed in as little as 2-4 months. This timeframe is designed to provide you with comprehensive training that covers both practical and theoretical aspects of cosmetology instruction. The duration allows ample time to master the necessary skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, instructional delivery, and more.
Our daily schedule is as follows:
- 9am-9:45 – Theory (Day Class)
- 10am – Open to quests
- 12pm-12:30 – Lunch
- 2:30pm – Closed
- 3:30pm-4:30 Theory (Night Theory)
- 6 pm – Closed
*Night classes may be available.
* Flexible course schedules for students
* Virtual students have access to education 24/7. Students can gain 56 hrs weekly
Do I have to be licensed to enroll in this program?
Yes, you are required to hold a current cosmetology license to enroll in our instructor training program. This prerequisite ensures that all participants have a foundational knowledge of cosmetology practices and are fully prepared to transition into an instructional role. Having prior experience in the field allows you to bring practical insights and real-world experience to your teaching, which will greatly benefit your future students.
Will I get hands-on teaching experience during the program?
Yes, hands-on teaching experience is a core component of our instructor training program.
